The WES (Warranted Environmental Specification) is a gateway criteria for your pharmacy. If you do not have it in place then you will get absolutely NO payment.
In order to obtain this criteria you will need to first contact your system supplier. Then you will need to access the SCR portal. You do not need to access an individual patient’s SCR for their pharmacy to be assessed; you just need to open the ‘Find a patient’ screen.
This will allow NHS Digital to capture the pharmacy’s operating and browser details.
You will receive an email from NHSBSA confirming that you have met this criteria. The email should look something like the one listed below.
