Flu Vaccine Ordering for 2019/20

Dear Member,

You must place your orders for flu vaccination season for 2019/20 NOW to avoid missing out or later deliveries.

Please note we expect you will still be able to amend your orders with manufacturers if NHS England guidance is changed.

Please double check with them to make sure.

Full guidance & licensing of all products is yet to be released but we recommend you at the very least place an order of HALF of your need now to secure early delivery dates.

What you need to do:

Decide how many vaccines you will need for next season (e.g. place half an order now for both licensed vaccines)
Contact Seqirus to order aTIV for patients over 65 years (see attachment)
Contact Mylan to order QIVe for patients 18 – 65 years in a clinical risk group (see table in attachment)
Do NOT leave this to the last minute!

Guidance on which vaccinations which will be used for the next flu season can be seen on the attachment.
