Dear PharmaPlus
Member,
As you may know the Royal Pharmaceutical Society National Pharmacy Board elections are taking place now. If you are an RPS member you can vote from 30th April 2018 to 18th May 2018.
All Members and Fellows eligible to vote will be sent their unique voter code via email so please keep an eye out for this and remember to check your spam/junk mail boxes. Members and Fellows who have indicated they wish to receive paper copies of the election material will be sent their
voting packs on 30th April so should receive these in the next couple of days.
It is important for ALL RPS members to take the time to carefully consider which candidates will best represent the independent community pharmacy sector and to make sure you VOTE!
Ultimately the decision is always your but PharmaPlus has also taken the time to review
the candidates and we are pleased to endorse the following:
·Thorrun Govind

utilising media appearing on BBC News, BBC Newsnight, BBC Victoria Derbyshire and as the Resident Pharmacist at BBC Radio London and BBC Radio Lancashire

·David
Gallier-Harris
o A Grass-roots Community Pharmacist with 19 years experience working across the sector including 8 years managing a small independent pharmacy. Current member of the Rebalancing Medicines Legislation and Pharmacy Regulation Programme Board.
o Key election priority is for the RPS to engage with the PSNC and other trade bodies to combat the savage cuts to funding through development of a service based element of the CPCF. It's time to support members out in the
community through leadership, facilitating dialogue and collaboration.
