For those of you who have been allocated a pre-registration trainee through the Oriel system it is really important you log onto to the Oriel system to see which student you have been allocated for 2018/19. On the site you are able to
download the students application form.
Your Next Steps:
- Logon to the system - https://nww.pathway.oriel.nhs.uk - can only access via an N3 connection
- Call the student to
introduce yourself and invite them into your pharmacy
- Build a relationship with the trainee and the rest of the team
- Talk to the student about the training year at your pharmacy and what they can expect
- Ensure your training premises application if expiring is sent in before 28thFeb 2018 so you are approved before July 2018 – you can check your status on the GPhC website
- Register for the PharmaPlus Buttercups Pre-Registration Training by clicking here
All of these steps will help with the retention of your future trainee and can help to
prevent any withdrawals last minute!
We will also be sending out some information shortly regarding the application process for 2019/20. The deadline for registration is
16th March 18 so watch this space.
