One of the goals for PharmaPlus is to provide you with the tools and skills to ensure that your business succeeds. All you need to do is look at the funding cuts that the government is making to realise that the former status-quo no longer exists. The government is no longer concealing its effort to hack away at the current pharmacy network.

An option you have is to skill yourself (and your staff) up. This will enable you to compete more effectively in tenders and for private services to make up the shortfall in your revenue.

Phlebotomy is a skill that can be learnt by almost anyone. It can be used for a number of different applications - e.g. allergy testing, blood testing, sexual health screening, drug misuse screening etc. It will put you in a much better position when applying for different services to source for funding.

PharmaPlus will be running an event on Sunday 14th January 2018 (between 8:30am - 5:00pm) at the PharmaPlus office in Harrow to train you up to become phlebotomists. This event is for 12 people only on a first come first serve basis and will cost £110+VAT per person. It is discounted from the normal price of £135+VAT. Refreshments and lunch is included.

We will put on more courses at later dates if there is the demand.

The course will teach you all the skills you require to extract blood from intravenous sampling.
