- Reason: “Following an investigation, it has been identified that a number of batches of the above products batches contain an error in the product label which affects the barcode and EAN number. When the barcode on the product label is scanned it incorrectly identifies the product as being a glass bottle product rather than a plastic bottle. Therefore, not allowing the barcode on the product label to
be used for the purposes of stock management. All other human readable information on the label is correct, therefore this error is not considered to impact patient safety.”
