Summary Care Records
The PSNC states that 'On the day of the second review, the pharmacy can demonstrate a total increase in access to Summary Care Records (from Monday 3 October 2016 to Sunday 30 April 2017 compared to Monday 1 May 2017 to Sunday 26 November 2017).'
This means that you have to do at least one more from the previous period. It also means that those of you who
have accessed it more than 100 times will also be deemed to have completed this task. Please
check here to see the status of your SCR. If you are 'red' then you have a few days to increase your
usage.
NHS Choices Profile
We have checked 20 Random pharmacies on NHS choices. We found 14 out of 20 members have not yet updated their NHS choices profile for the November review point or have uploaded the Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire (CPPQ) incorrectly. This puts the whole QP payment at risk.
We are urging members to check:
1) The pharmacies NHS choices page
- This
should have been updated between 11th September 2017 – 24thNovember 2017
- Sections you will need to update include:
- Opening hours
- Facilities the pharmacy provides
- Services the pharmacy provides
- All three parts will need to have been amended or validated for the contractor to have met the gateway criterion to have an up to date NHS Choices profile.
2) Community Pharmacy Patient Questionnaire (CPPQ)
Upload
- Watch the PharmaPlus Video:
- Read guidance document attached
- Very specific wording is required to qualify for this payment please make sure what you have done matches the guidance
3) See attached checklist and ensure you meet all the
criteria
We are unable to check every members NHS choices profile. If you are unsure if yours has been done correctly please contact the PharmaPlus Office.
