1. Must administer
30 or more flu vaccines to any eligible patients under the advanced service between 1st Sept 2021 and 31st Jan 2021 (total numbers will need to be submitted for the claim).
2. Must engage with your PCN Lead to be involved in increasing the uptake of flu vaccinations to patients aged 65 years and over by 31st Dec
2021.
3. Keep a record of:
o When the meeting took place,
o Name of your PCN, PCN Lead, their pharmacy name and ODS code for your MYS declaration.
PCN Leads
1. Engage with the community pharmacies in your PCN who wish to be involved on how to increase the uptake of flu vaccinations for over 65s – See survey attached.
2. Engage with the PCN Clinical Director to agree how community pharmacies in the PCN will collaborate with general practice.
3. If as the PCN Lead you do not provide flu vaccinations you will only be able to claim for the PCN leadership points and not for contributing to the increase in uptake of flu vaccinations.
4. Keep a record of:
o The meeting date & actions.
o ODS codes of pharmacies who have engaged in the process of increasing flu uptake in patients 65 years and over.
Disbanded PCNs and the pharmacy is no longer able to realign with another PCN
1. Collaboratively work with the other pharmacies in the disbanded PCN area as agreed with the NHSE&I regional team for that area.
2. In order to receive payment for this domain these arrangements must be agreed in advance of the declaration with the regional team in conjunction with the LPC.
