In May 2020, the DHSC announced that there would be a suspension of the PNA requirements for local authorities for a year. DHSC’s announcement meant that renewed PNAs would not need to be published until April 2022.
However, ongoing COVID issues now mean that the publication of PNA’s will not need to take place until October 2022.
There is a new PNA questionnaire that has been developed and can be found here.
Authorities will likely provide you with something similar in the coming months, and it may be worth reading through to ensure that you have the information you need to complete it as PNA’s can take anything up to a year to write.
The final questionnaires used may be slightly different from that above, depending on local issues. Nevertheless, it is worth having this in the back of your mind that this is coming to you shortly!
