Based on the expression of interest forms we received from our members regarding Private Clinical Services (after the PharmaPlus Seminar on 31st March 2021), we have set two further Private Clinical Services webinars. The services are both profitable and innovative so that you can be among the first to provide them in the country.

SEMINAR 1: Ear Microsuction and Independent Prescribing

Tuesday 11th May 2021 - 8:00pm - 9:30pm

In this event, we will discuss our new ear microsuction service and Independent Prescribing.

Ear Microsuction: Now that GPs are not providing the service, we have found there is an increasing demand for this service in community pharmacy. These customers are 'repeaters' (will come to your pharmacy many times) and will likely spend approximately £60-£80 per consultation. It is a highly profitable service with an untapped market, and no doubt they will also recommend others.

We will briefly discuss what do you need to do in order to set yourself up to provide the service. This webinar is not about training you to provide the service, but it is more about providing you more information and the opportunity to ask questions.

Independent Prescribing: We will also discuss Independent Prescribing and how PharmaPlus can support you to get a designated mentor to complete your qualification and to provide more advanced services from your pharmacy.

SEMINAR 2: DNA Testing Service Video Seminar and Discussion:

Tuesday 18th May 2021 - 9:00pm - 10:00pm

We have recently added a new supplier to our recommended suppliers list that can provide a whole host of DNA testing services. Initially, we intend to work and provide paternity testing services in the pharmacy. We believe that this is an untapped market with huge potential.

This service can also be used to support patients with suspected drug sensitivities. Often, it is possible to establish potential sensitivity to a drug by conducting a test on your DNA that could highlight potential problems before they occur.

It is also our goal in the future to introduce genetic testing in the pharmacy. However there are some barriers that need to be overcome before these two services can be offered, and both will be discussed in this session.

The seminar will be provided by our partners who are based in Australia (hence the reason why we will start at 9:00 pm).

It is a revolutionary new service that is only provided by a handful of Pharmacies currently in the UK.
