DEADLINE APPROACHING for claiming the £200 early sign up fee: 23.59 on 18th April 2021 via MYS.
Under this service asymptomatic people are able to collect a box of 7 lateral flow devices from your pharmacy for home testing. The service does not require you to conduct any testing in your pharmacy, only distribute.
The pharmacy needs to ask 3 questions. These are not used to check the eligibility of service users. Nobody should be denied access to test kits, as long as they answer the three questions.
The service will run until 30th June 2021 and then will be reviewed.
What you need to do:
1. Read the service specification.
2. Sign up to the service via MYS by 23:59 on 18th April 2021 to be able to claim the £200 early sign
up fee.
3. Click here to download the SOP and tailor it to your pharmacy.
4. Place orders for testing kits via wholesalers free of charge – Click here for a list of
wholesalers.
a) Max order of 12 cartons per week (54 boxes per carton) – Will need
adequate storage for these.
5. Must keep a record of cartons received each week and enter details onto MYS by the last trading day of each week – See template attached.
6. Must ask patients the following 3 questions AND record the answers onto MYS for payment at the end of each week (See templates attached):
a) Have you collected LFD test kits before?
b) Why do you need tests? (only in relation to the first person requesting a test)
c) What is the age range of the person using the kit? (for each box supplied)

8. Claiming payment
a) £200 early sign up fee if you register by 23.59 on 18th April 2021 and provide the service until 30th June 2021.
b) £250 one off set up fee.
c) £1.50 per transaction – based on MYS submissions of the 3 questions.
d) You must upload your data onto MYS by the last trading day of each week.
