During the Virtual Seminar, we discussed:

The current pharmacy funding situation, hub and spoke and a pharmacy service update from Simon Dukes. With an opportunity for member questions to be answered.
National service updates including the discharge medicine service, CPCS, the new lateral flow device distribution service and COVID vaccines and the importance of engaging with services going forward.
The future of PRIVATE Clinical Services and launching an aesthetics clinic, ear wax removal service and a DNA testing service in your pharmacy.

As a follow up to the launch of GP CPCS it is important you have a wide range of services being offered in your pharmacy. PharmaPlus is working hard to ensure members have access to as many private clinical services and PGDs as possible to maximise on income.

Referrals from the CPCS service can be linked to other pharmacy services you provide e.g. a patient coming in for a UTI linking this to a PGD or a patient being referred for ear wax removal.

GP CPCS will open up the doors to more complicated consultations and PharmaDoctor PGDs will allow you to support the referred patients by providing a whole suite of clinical services using their etool platform with minimal effort. This is an opportunity to extend the private provision of clinical services and increase your revenue streams. We offer a subsidised deal with PharmaDoctor.
