Dear Member,
People who are clinically extremely vulnerable will be advised by the Government not to go to a pharmacy, and as a consequence of this new advice, the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care has decided to restart the Pandemic Delivery Service from 21st December 2020 until 18th January 2021.
The service applies across Tier 4 regions only.
Please ensure you check SCR for every delivery made from today and record them accordingly.
We have worked hard to provide you with the most up to date information on the delivery service. Please find the following four attachments:
1. Pandemic Delivery Service Guide
A one page summary card for you to print so you know the process and who you can use it to maximise your income. This includes all you need at a glance on what you can and can't do - includes ‘extremely vulnerable’ categories, CDs, high risk drug information and more.
2. Pandemic Delivery Service Log
A delivery log so that you can keep accurate records for your deliveries to ensure that you can keep proof of your claims under the advanced service. It is essential you keep these record for post-payment verification checks.
3. COVID-19 Risk Group Summary Sheet
A list of patients who call into the category which you can print out and keep in the pharmacy for reference.
4. Updated Delivery SOP
Please download, read and sign the latest delivery SOP to include the latest updates to the pandemic delivery service and changes to signing of prescriptions.
ACTION: Please download and print and use the documents attached.
Regards,
PharmaPlus.
