From 1^st December 2020: All patients aged 50 – 64 years (even if they are not in an at risk group) can be vaccinated on the NHS 

This is to be done under the advanced flu vaccination service. The same record form and record keeping requirements (e.g. uploading onto Sonar (London) or Pharmaoutcomes) can be used and national PGD are to be used.

These patients should be vaccinated with a quadrivalent vaccine. 

Obtaining more flu stock

• The Department of Health and Social Cares flu stock has started to arrive at the wholesalers and they will continue to receive deliveries over the coming months 
• Contact Alliance Healthcare, AAH and DE Pharma to complete a declaration surrounding obtaining the flu stock
• The flu stock is currently only to be used on NHS patients 
• You should receive emails from the suppliers when flu stock is available to order 
• Continue to check on the suppliers web portals daily for flu stock
