The Pharmacy Quality Scheme (PQS) Aspiration payment window is now open. Deadline to claim is Friday 9^th October!

What is the aspiration payment? 

• It is an advanced payment for the Pharmacy Quality Scheme 2020/21 Part 2
• You can claim up to 70% of the total payment you would qualify for in advance 
• It is an optional claim and not claiming now does not affect your ability to claim your PQS in February 

What you need to do:

• Ensure you will complete ALL the requirements of PQS Part 1 – This is gateway criteria (See attached PQS 5 Part 1 Checklist) 
• If you intend to complete PQS Part 2 you can claim for the aspiration payment 
• Log onto MYS, then:
  • Click on the Pharmacy Quality Scheme tab 
  • Select which domains you will complete by February 2021 
  • Complete your declaration 

The 5 Domains you are able to claim for are: 

1. Infection Prevention & Control and AMS 
2. Prevention 
3. Risk Management 
4. Primary Care Network – Prevent 
5. Primary Care Network – Business continuity
