IMPORTANT: Provisional Pre-Registration Register

Dear Member,

Provisional Pre-Registration Register

The registration for the provisional pre-registration register is now open and can be accessed by trainees from week 49 of their training.

The earliest date trainees can join the provisional register from is 1st August 2020.

DEADLINE: 17th July 2020 for registration for 1st August 2020 (for later registrations you must submit this at least 2 weeks before your trainee wishes to join the register).

What you need to do:

Check if your trainee is eligible to join the register – click here for further information
Complete your trainees final progress report and enhanced declaration through myGPhC
Trainee must receive a satisfactory outcome through myGPhC to apply for the provisional register and sit the assessment
Trainees will need to via myGPhC
- Check their training details
- Upload the relevant documents
- Submit the request to their tutors through myGPhC
Tutor will need too – via myGPhC:
- Confirm their identity
- Make an assessment trainees completence
- Record absences
- Discuss your assessment with another registered health professional
- Make a declaration that they consider the trainee competent and safe to be registered provisionally

If your trainee is not eligible to join the provisional register

Complete the normal final declaration form as per usual
