Future of PSNC and LPC - Pharmacy Representation Review: 

A Contractor Webinar Monday 29th June at 7pm 

The Wright review was set up by the PSNC to answer two key questions, were contractors getting best value for their money and can we utilise it better than currently.  

The main recommendations are: 

·         Rebrand PSNC, reduce its size and replace current committee with LPC chairs (elected contractors)

·         It also ties PSNC to other pharmacy representative bodies

·         Bring the local and national bodies closer as well as Introduce patient voice

·         Change the size of LPC to around 200 pharmacies per LPC

·         Improving and standardising governance 

This is an incredibly complex and long report, going through 122 pages with 33 recommendations. The outcome could result in several significant changes to your LPC and the PSNC
