As the critical period of the pandemic enters a 'slightly' less busy stage, PharmaPlus is proud to announce the development of a number of training modules for your counter staff. The idea is to help facilitate improved care for your patients and promote better product selection of the various over the counter ailments. Ultimately, this will help increase
sales to support your growth.
NHS England announced a while back that there were numerous conditions that GPs would no longer be able to prescribe. A few examples of these include products for mild pain, ear wax, conjunctivitis etc. There are about 30 different areas where GPs ask patients to go to pharmacies to purchase medicine rather than to prescribe them on the NHS.
The modules below relate to various areas that you can help develop, your staff confidence and knowledge and be able to make sales when appropriate. Our aim is to ensure that your staff are confident in recommending these products to your customers and patients.
Certification is available when your staff complete a module this helps ensure you can demonstrate ongoing training of your team to the regulatory authorities.
From a time perspective each module conveniently lasts about 5 to 10 minutes, and are designed to be utilised during in-store time. More modules are being planned.
