5. FURLOUGHING EMPLOYEES
(a) The information about furloughing employees is a complex area, and it depends on many complicated factors and processes.
(b) You should carefully consider whether this is something that you need to do in your pharmacy and whether it is necessary.
(c) There is a vast amount of information out there. Still, a lot of it is not explicitly clear nor definitive to community pharmacy when considering the unique position that community pharmacy has. If you feel that you need more information on this process, then we advise you to contact Ellis Witten at the NPA if you are a member.
(d) Furloughing is not an area that is something you can afford to make a mistake on, and you require expert advice before you proceed.
