PharmaPlus 1PM Update: Government Financial Support during Covid-19

Dear Member,

As you are aware the UK government have setup an number of new financial support packages for businesses during Covid-19. Please see below time line of available support & what packages can be claimed NOW & which package will be available in the future:

There are some other financial packages in the process of being developed (these are not yet ready):

1) A Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme - The online service you’ll use to claim is not available yet. We expect it to be available by the end of April 2020.

2) A Self-employment Income Support Scheme - The online service you’ll use to claim is not available yet. HMRC will contact you if you are eligible for the scheme and invite you to apply online.

3) A Statutory Sick Pay relief package for small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) - A rebate scheme is being developed. Further details will be provided in due course once the legalisation has passed.
