Here are today's 1PM updates from us:
COVID-19 Funding Update:
1. COVID-19 - Advance payment uplift to pharmacy contractors’ on 1 April and on 1 May will give the average pharmacy contractor a circa 26% uplift in their 1 April payment and a circa 13% uplift in their 1 May payment. NHSBSA will be
sending a letter to each contractor outlining their uplift. This uplift is NOT additional funding. The uplift will be reconciled (taken back) the latter part in 2020/21. More exact details are to follow once agreed with the PSNC. Click here for more information.
2. Business rates - check your recent statement sent in Mar 20 from the council to ensure the information on file is correct. In particular ensure your Direct Debit details are correct. You should get updated statements to reflect
the chancellor’s support measures in the next few weeks as well as a grant if due automatically provided your details are correctly held by your council.
3. Additional support measures EG £300 for installing protective screens. We are aware this has appeared in the NHS Covid Pharmacy SOP however the details and how to claim are unclear. We will update you once we know for
sure.
