These are incredibly challenging times, and all of you have worked with a tremendous amount of dedication. I would like to thank you on a personal level for the integrity and commitment you have all demonstrated. My thanks also extend to all of your teams. Without their support, it would be quite possible for the healthcare system in the UK to collapse.
