A New Year, A New Beginning

Dear member,
The team at PharmaPlus and I, wish you, your pharmacy team and your family a healthy and profitable New Year. The general election is now over, and we have a stability of sorts – but we know that Brexit is going to occur. Community pharmacy will, needless to say, be affected by this, and it could further influence the new government's health
policy going forward.
This year has been one of implementation of change, i.e. the predicted transformation in our industry is now actually taking place, and this will affect the way community pharmacy will be operating in the future. The road ahead, as Pharmaplus has been saying for quite some time, is one of providing PRIVATE clinical services. You have seen from your margins that dispensing and purchasing
have been eroded, and although it remains the most important aspect of your business, just relying on this alone will not make your pharmacy viable.
I want to thank all the members that attended our Seminars on 7th and 14th November 2019. We had a turnout of over a 120 members at the two events.
