Dear Member,
If your NHS Smartcard or its role was set up a long time ago, you may need to update it to keep it working.
Actions to Take:
✅ Check and update your contact details in your Care Identity Management (CIM) profile (email and phone).
✅ Register for the new mobile phone self-unlock method to reset your PIN if your card gets locked.
✅ Check if your Smartcard position is expiring—especially if you use the multi-site FFFFF code.
✅ Ensure your Smartcard is not
outdated—if the number in the bottom right starts with 04, 05, or 06, it needs replacing.

If action is needed, contact your local Smartcard Registration Authority as soon as possible.
