Dear Member,
The next few weeks are at a crucial stage in the future of Community Pharmacy (CP) as Community Pharmacy England (CPE) take a
vote on the current negotiations for the 24/25 and 25/26 contract. History has shown us the CP have always suffered a poor deal and at the back of a 5 year fixed deal we have all been brought to our knees.
The government carried out an Economic Review of the financial position that CP is
at, however, the report has not been released to the general public as it is currently 'embargoed' by the government. We are genuinely at a crossroads, almost a crisis with the lack of funding in our sector over the last 5 plus years, the report should be the basis of where we want funding to be and close this gap.
What you ALL urgently need to do is to speak up and collectively put pressure on our local MP's and ICB's to release this report before the crucial vote is taken on our future by CPE. Please see the link below where you can find who your local MP is:

Our regional reps (London South Beran Patel and London North Prakash Patel) are representing Independent contractors and have
done a great job fighting our corner and need support through this process. Please feed back to CPE your views on this situation as this will be your last chance to influence a better outcome to secure your futures. Any proposed agreement must be put to contractors for a vote etc.
