We are writing to inform you of upcoming changes to the NHS Business Services Authority (NHSBSA) FP34 payments statements. Starting from the dispensing month of February 2024, the statements will feature several important updates to support the Pharmacy First service and consolidate information previously provided separately.

Key Changes to the FP34 Statement:

Pharmacy First Payments: Detailed breakdown of payments alongside relevant activity data.
Reimbursement and Discount Deductions: Total amounts will now be split by generics, brands, and appliance rates and clearly differentiated between prescriptions and Pharmacy First Clinical Pathway items.
VAT Information: Specific VAT details for products supplied under Pharmacy First Clinical Pathways.
Allowances: Separate display of consumable and container allowances for prescriptions and Pharmacy First Clinical Pathway items.
Patient Levies: Clear separation of patient levies between prescriptions and Pharmacy First Clinical Pathway items.
