PharmaPlus Members’ Five-Step DSPT Completion Checklist (Updated):
1. Toolkit Login: Begin by logging into your DSPT account with your previous credentials.
2. Organisation Profile Updates:
a) Refresh your GDPR Workbook Part 3 as required, which now significantly contributes to completing around half of the Toolkit questions. Simply reference 'see GDPR WB' where applicable.
b) Designate or confirm your Data Protection Officer (DPO) and verify NHSmail as your exclusive patient information email system.
c) Optionally, update your Caldicott Guardian status.
3. Staff Training Compliance: Ensure 95% of your staff have completed data security training in the past year, utilising available resources and group sessions to reinforce data security awareness.
4. Utilising POC Batch Submission: Confirm your pharmacies are accurately listed under your POC. This
streamlined feature is crucial for owners with multiple pharmacies and simplifies the submission process.
5. Finalising Mandatory Questions: With improvements to the Toolkit, including question wording and the ability to review previous submissions, focus on completing all mandatory questions. The Community Pharmacy England guidance is valuable, particularly for
technical queries.

Begin Early: We advise starting the submission process as soon as possible by logging into the Toolkit and reviewing the provided guidance documents.
