2. Action Plan
What to do
This should be familiar as this was a requirement for the last PQS. Use
the Action plan template provided with this email (see attachment) and adjust according to your pharmacy. Or you can update your current action plan.
Please see below some considerations for your action plan should you wish to adjust/update the template provided:
- how you
will promote AMS.
- how pharmacy staff will incorporate the principles of AMS into self-care advice, including reinforcing the messages around appropriate use of antibiotics, and the uptake of vaccinations, including the flu vaccine.
You must show evidence that the actions within the plan have
been implemented.
How to claim
You must declare at premises level that a new or updated AMS action plan has been completed on how you would promote AMS in your day-to-day practice.
