Following the Summary of upcoming PQS 2023 - 2024 email we sent last month (please click here to review that email), we know some of you have been wondering about the next steps for the PQS support PharmaPlus offers each
year with bite size chunks of information. Since the PQS workload this year is a lot more “manageable” compared to previous years we haven’t gone into too much detail as of yet. We thought we would leave you to focus on your flu and Covid vaccinations during October.
What is to be expected from PQS this
year?
The work involved for the PQS scheme this year is significantly lower, which means that the remuneration, i.e. the expected average value is lower this year and we estimate it to be around £4,700 (60% of last year’s value).
What is the Gateway Criteria?
Only pharmacies that have delivered a minimum of 15 NMS between 1 April 2023 and by the end of 31 December 2023 and have claimed for these by 5 January 2024 will be eligible for any PQS payment.
