The New Procedure For Payment Of Claims For Foundation Trainee Pharmacist
MYS contains a new module for foundation training grant submissions.
You will need to register each foundation trainee pharmacist you need to make a payment claim for, entering:
their name
their date of birth
their GPhC registration number
their training start date
their Designated Supervisor’s name
their Designated Supervisor’s GPhC registration number
Payments will be made monthly in arrears, with the first payment covering any catch up needed.
Earlier payment for claims made in the first week.
Any claims made between 14th Sept and 23:59 on 21st Sept, the NHSBSA will process the July payment immediately and pharmacy owners will receive the payment in early October.
We suggest pharmacy owners whose trainees commenced in July 2023 submit their first claim during that period.
For all other claims, payments will be made in line with the normal pharmacy payment timetable.
