We know many pharmacies are progressing well with the BP and ABPM service. The service has various incentive fees and below is a reminder of what could be paid provided certain activity is completed. Please review these and ensure you are progressing the service accordingly.
15 ABPM interventions are required in 2022/23 (i.e., by 31st Mar 2023) to be paid a £400 Incentive fee.
This is increased to
£1000 if you did not meet last year’s target as a catch-up fee (last year 5 ABPMs were needed during 2021/22 when £1000 was paid for these 5 ABPMs).
Other fees to be aware of:
1) If you are not set up yet, a set-up fee of £440 is still available
for setting up - please contact the office for more support if needed.
2) A fee for each BP check is £15
3) A fee for each ABPM check is £45
In
2023/24 the target for the ABPMs incentive is 25 and a further £400 is paid (this would increase to £1000 if you miss the 2022/23 target).
The incentive fees are to help contractors to fund the capital cost / maintenance fees of purchasing a suitable clinic BP meter and an ABPM.
All fees
and incentives are automatically paid on your NHS BSA Statement as you record activity on MYS each month.
