You will be pleased to know that this is the final email regarding PQS for 2022. We understand the pressures in house at this time of the year, therefore we will not be expecting you to initiate any other PQS items. However, you must try to continue with the other areas of PQS which should be well underway.

    8.  Level 3 Safeguarding Training - Email sent 14th November 2022

    9.  Sepsis Training - Email sent 21st November 2022

    10. Risk Management Training - Email sent 30th November 2022

    11. Risk Review - Email sent 12th December 2022

12. Cancer Awareness and minimising the risk of missing suspected cancer symptoms

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO DO

1.  All pharmacy staff to complete the ”Lets communicate cancer e-learning (BOPA)” on elfh platform. https://portal.e-lfh.org.uk/Component/Details/756899 and have completed the quiz on module 1. 

(Staff who have completed this since March 2021 are exempt)

Use the training record sheet attached to this email to record which members of staff have completed the training and on what date. Or you may want to print the certificates from the elfh website on completion and keep them in your PQS folder.

2.  Within your risk review you must detail how many referrals have been made to GP in relation to suspected cancer symptoms. This will be required for declaration.
