The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and NHS England and NHS Improvement (NHSE&I) have jointly published the annual flu vaccination
programme letter for the 2022/23 flu vaccination season.

1. View the eligibility criteria by reading the
letter a). Will only be offered to patient groups eligible in line with pre-pandemic recommendations. b). Age group of 50 – 64 years & primary care staff are NO LONGER included as a cohort for 2022/23
2. Ordering of flu stock: a). Some vaccines may only be available in limited quantities. It is recommended that orders are placed with more than one manufacturer to ensure you have sufficient stock. b). It is not anticipated that any stock will be centrally procured by the Department of Health and Social Care. Contractors are strongly urged to order sufficient volumes of vaccines to serve their eligible populations. c). If you have already placed your orders and wish to amend these you should contact your supplier as soon as possible.
