Dear Member

Funded Independent Prescribing course placements are available from Health Education England for Community Pharmacists.

There are dates available to start the course before March 2022. If you are in a position to start apply now.

What you need to do:

1. Click here to check you meet the eligibility criteria
2. Arrange for a designated medical practitioner (DMP) or a designated prescribing practitioner (DPP).
3. Click here if you would like support from PharmaPlus in arranging a DMP
4. Have a placement arranged for practice based learning
5. Click here to see a list of university placements available (they are limited) and apply directly to the university using the link in the document

If you are not ready to enrol for March 2022. We urge you to prepare to apply for the Autumn 2022 intake.

Remember, soon all pharmacy graduates will be leaving university with an IP qualification. Do not get left behind.
