The NHS launched the Hypertension Case Finding Service last year. The goal is simple; to get pharmacists to find people who are 40 or over and have high blood pressure.
All pharmacists will be familiar with the standard clinic blood pressure machines. However, the service is complicated because you will also need to know how and when to use a 24-hour blood pressure meter.
PharmaPlus has partnered with Valley Solutions and Microlife to bring you a webinar where we will aim to provide you with the resources, information, and tips to succeed with this service. The rewards can be great - with each person you support potentially earning you £60 per intervention.
