Dear Member,
There are changes to how the community pharmacy patient questionnaire (CPPQ) is conducted.
Key changes:
• Must undertake an annual assessment of patient satisfaction but do not need to use the CPPQ.
• Must obtain structured feedback on your patients experiencing of using the pharmacy’s NHS services using a variety of methods e.g. face to face, postal, email or webpage submission rather than having to use the CPPQ.
• Details are outlined in the approved particulars.
• Annually NHSE&I publish up to 3 topics which all contractors must include in their collection of feedback – this will be outlined by 31st December annually (the agreed list for 2022/23 will be published shortly).
|
What you need to do for 2021/22:
1. If you have already undertaken your CPPQ for this year – no further action needed.
2. If you have not already met your requirements for 2021/22 – then you must:
a). Either undertake the CPPQ by 31st March 2022 – you can order your questionnaires through Intellipharm (please see order form attached).
b). Or use the new flexible approach to seek patient feedback – See the approved particulars for further details on how this can be conducted.
- Should include a range of patients to reflect the pharmacy’s business profile
- This includes using more than one method of submission for patients’ feedback responses (e.g. face to face, postal, email or webpage submission)
