I want to take a little bit of your precious time for you to read our brief New Year message.
2022 is well on its way, and I am sure most of us are grateful to see the back of 2021. With almost two years of uncertainty, stress and hardship, and a tiny glimmer of hope, we look forward to a better 2022. We expect the pandemic to stabilise, but 2022 will be a year of adjustment in accepting new norms to the way we live our lives, and for us in particular, the way we run our
businesses.
Throughout 2021 PharmaPlus team has been working very hard behind the scenes, making sure that even in a new working environment, since the March 2020 lockdown, we adapted quickly, making sure we kept our services to you to the highest level.

What to expect in 2022
Just as the government will scrutinise the country's finances, you will be doing the same for your business. And as always, we recommend that you look at the private 'clinical' angle
that your company takes to make additional revenue, replacing what the government will inevitably take away from NHS supply services. We strongly feel this extra revenue can be generated wherever your business is located.
At PharmaPlus, we will continue to pursue this strategy aggressively. In addition to our PGDs and Travel Clinic, we continue to develop our Private Clinical services such as walk-in clinics, including wart removal service, IV infusion service, Ear Microsuction and many more, such as PPL Medical Aesthetics Service (Botox). We have also
introduced a legal DNA sampling service which is going well with participating pharmacies. The services mentioned are only the start of the menu we are presenting; there will be several more, and we encourage you all to get involved.
Bricks and mortar competition of the future is NOT going to be from other NHS Pharmacies but NON-NHS Pharmacies. We need to be in that space for services now.

CQC Regulatory Changes
We also expect significant regulatory changes shortly. The CQC will be taking a more proactive role in regulating clinical services in community pharmacies as independent prescribing takes hold and more complex clinical services are developed. We have also expanded our registration and inspection system to permit your pharmacy to be CQC compliant. CQC
compliance will allow your pharmacy to provide these complex services to a higher degree of safety and oversight, giving your patients the reassurance they need and, importantly, showing the general public the standards you operate under. Throughout, we have sent you clear and detailed communications to guide you through the pandemic to support your business, help with Covid costs recovery, and support professional regulatory requirements over the past two years. We have also run numerous webinars and training sessions and have answered 'thousands' of queries on the phone, by email, WhatsApp and other
means.
Furthermore, we would very much appreciate it if you contact us if you intend to sell up or retire. We have support available to you to help sell your pharmacy as smooth as possible.
