Dear Member,
To help ease the immediate pressures on community pharmacies the DHSC & PSNC has agreed a number of easements to requirements. We have listed them below and outlined a list of actions you should undertake as a priority.
1. Extension to the deadlines for Pharmacy Quality Scheme (awaiting full information):
a. Must still make a declaration in February
b. The PCN Domain MUST be met by 31st December 2021 and is not covered by any easing
c. Meet your NMS gateway criteria by 5th April 2022 (claim for 20 NMS between 1st April 21 and 5th April 22) – Click here to see if you are currently meeting the criteria
d. Extension for some tasks has been granted until 30th June 2022 – we advise you continue to complete your tasks where time permits
2. Contractors will NOT be required to complete the CPPQ for 2021/2022 – Stop CPPQ work.
3. The requirement to complete a national audit (intended to be on valproate) & contractor chosen audit in 2021/22 will be waived – Stop any work related to these audits.
4. Pre-Christmas focus on Items - NMS, GP-CPCS, Flu & DMS and any other core services.
5. Ensure your NHS profile and DoS have been updated with your bank holiday opening hours (please note Sunday 26th December 2021 and Saturday 1st January 2022 are not Bank Holidays this year,
but normal contractual days).
6. Pause on NMS quarterly reporting (you will be required to report next in July 2022).
